I'm not a very pious person, yet my knowledge in religion is also limited but Alhamdulillah I have experienced what they called, the power of doa.
When people say Allah knows what to give and what not to give you, it is true. We human just have to believe that Allah knows better what's best for us.
For the past few months I have experienced a phase in my life when my instinct said that something's not right, yet I didn't know what to do yet, so I prayed to Allah, if it's the best for me, please make it work, but if it's not the best for me, keep me away from it in the nicest way possible.
And when the time comes that my prayer was answered, Alhamdulillah, there's no sense of regret or grieve at all. But I'm happy, in fact, I was so happy, one because my prayer has been answered, two, because I get to experience myself that Allah knows what's best for me.
Before, I just prayed and keep on trusting, but now, I have the proof. Never doubt the power of doa.

btl tu, sis, ni pengalaman akak, Insya ALLAH, lama2 doa kita tu makbul dgn izin ALLAH, kdg2 kita x dpt pe yg kita hajatkn tp ALLAH knows the best, alhamdulilah, berkat doa kita, kita x prnh rasa myesal dgn takdir & hikmah dariNYA
